Lan (Imen) Zhang 

Imen graduated from the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (1988) where she received five years extensive training, major in Acupuncture and its related medical disorders and post-surgical recoveries such as C-section, cancerous treatment and post-stroke rehabilitation.

Imen was a clinical instructor for over ten years of the Beijing No. 6 Hospital (an affiliate hospital of the China Beijing International Acupuncture Training Centre) where students came from Scandinavia, Germany, Iran, and Australia… for acupuncture training.

Imen is a licensed acupuncturist in Vancouver and has 24 years of clinical experience (as of 2012). Her special interest includes the treatment of infertility, pain syndromes, depression and anxieties, gynaecological and menopausal disorders, allergies, hay fever, overweight, smoking and cigarette addictions, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) condition, gastrointestinal disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and other autoimmune diseases such as ankylosing spondylitis, and rheumatoid arthritis.


Yuan Jiao

Yuan Jiao is a Doctor of Tradition Chinese Medicine in BC. She graduated from Beijing Medical University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in clinical medicine in 1999. Then, in 2007, she received a master’s degree in cardiology from Peking Union Medical College of China. After moving to Vancouver, she studied Chinese medicine at the Vancouver Beijing College of Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Jiao has an education and working background in both Chinese and Western medicine. She was engaged in clinical work in the Department of Cardiology and Intensive Care Unit of China-Japan Friendship Hospital for 16 years. There, she specializes in Hypertension, Coronary Heart Disease, Hyperlipidemia, Arrhythmia, and Diabetes. Dr. Jiao is also experienced in integrating traditional Chinese and western medicine methods to treat various internal chronic diseases, pain syndrome, female menopausal disease, insomnia, and depression etc. Moreover, she is focused on rehabilitation therapy for chronic diseases.


Congcong (Coco) Jiang

Coco Jiang graduated with a Master’s Degree in Science from Simon Fraser University in 2009. Driven by a strong interest in traditional Chinese medicine, she furthered her studies at the Vancouver Beijing College of Chinese Medicine. In 2022, she became a registered acupuncture practitioner. Coco is proficient in various TCM treatments, including classical acupuncture, electroacupuncture, Fu’s subcutaneous needling, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, and acupoint pressure. With a commitment to holistic wellness, Coco combines her academic knowledge and practical experience to provide personalized and effective healthcare solutions.
